The coffee pot drips, giving off a perfect aroma of a dark roast elixir. The kids begin to stir, playing in the front living room with the multitude of Grandma’s dolls while the Adult congregate in the kitchen. It is the day after Thanksgiving and all are recovering from a large feast, lounging in over-sized chairs and catching up on news.
At Imagine Road Productions, we specialize in capturing not just the family portrait, but also the candids that depict the life and character of the family. We do this by involving the entire family in our productions, from the very young to the elders, through role playing and characterizations.
Whether you want us to simply put together your annual ‘Family Portrait’, or would like a in-depth ‘Family Bio Film’, we have something that will fit your budget.
Wisconsin’s Ice Age Trail. With less than 2 weeks left before heading out to the ‘Enhanted Circle‘ of Northern New Mexico, a trail was rediscovered that is perfect for conditioning and preparations. The ‘Ice Age Trail’ traverses across the State of Wisconsin, in close approximation to the Glaciers southernmost descent during the Wisconsinan Glaciation about 50,000 years ago.

Begin it where the warm waters halt. As I hit the ‘two weeks left’ mark before heading out for my first search expedition, it is becoming increasingly important to locate several potential places to begin. The first clue is to begin where the warm waters halt (WWWH). There are some things we know from what Forrest has said in previous interviews. The treasure is located at least 8.25 miles north of Santa Fe in the Rocky Mountains. It is not underwater and is near a grove of pine trees. It is not in a cave or a building, not under a large rock or boulder, and not very close to a man-made trail. Beyond that, there are many potential options.

Busy week preparing. Sifting through numerous clues, scouring Northern New Mexico’s Rocky Mountains using Google Earth, and doing what is needed to become physically prepared for hiking in altitude, has been time-consuming to say the least. The good news is that my efforts have produced at least two ‘solves’ to explore once on site July 22nd. With a new pair of hiking boots, a suitable day pack, and the important topographic maps, it is looking good.

“The Forrest Fenn Treasure” In the local paper yesterday, there was an article about a Colorado Pastor found near Pilar, NM in the Rio Grande, apparently searching for the chest of treasure left by 80 yr old Forrest Fenn in mid-2000. More than 65,000 people have unsuccessfully searched for this treasure in the Rocky Mountains in four states spanning from New Mexico to Montana. At the end of September, I will be driving out to Pilar, NM and recovering the chest. In the process, I will be making preparations, analyzing Mr. Fenn’s clues from his poem, and putting together a documentary video of the entire expedition. However, this is more than just a simple quest for me.

Well…after much procrastination and endless excuses, I finally ran out of time and have to get started. Once again. The process is very simple but my mind complicates it over and over. It is almost 3:15P and I’m just now beginning to feel something different. Traditionally, at this time I would begin trying to convince myself that a vegetarian pizza is suitable reward for a job well done on this first day. I’m serious. Continue reading Starting Over Again
Every first step in the process of making healthy changes in your lifestyle requires a plan. For some people, the plan can be very simple. For others, such as myself, the plan has to be developed based on observations from past success and past failures. A simple plan does not work for me and I am not entirely sure why.
